Our empowerment status
Bill-M Signs cc is 100% black owned. All its members and senior managers stem from a previously disadvantaged background. The company’s work force constitutes 86% black personnel. Bill-M Signs cc is managed by a black woman and the rest of the management team is black.
The company strongly believes in “empowerment through employment” and it has a policy of using the business to create work and provide training for disadvantaged community members of all races. Bill Meyer is devoted to transferring skills and training towards the needy, especially those who have recently entered the job market.
Training and development
Bill-M Signs cc believes in service delivery and competence, therefore it has training programmes in place to keep its employees up to date with latest trends in the industry. Training in welding, glass blowing, electrical and computer vinyl cutting is provided.
Apprenticeship courses are done without any funding. Bill-M Signs cc trains employees and certificates are awarded after completion of their course.
